Very so-so when it comes to survey sites. The pay isn’t too bad and you can withdraw into PayPal in a matter of minutes. But you do get thrown out of quite a few surveys which is always a frustration.

I’m not sure about you, but I probably spend far more than I should on my mobile phone. But the good news is that your phone doesn’t always have to be a drain on your finances, it could actually make you money. I have tried various ways to make money from my phone with varying success including apps such as AttaPoll and Curious Cat. Although they have given me some decent returns, I’m always looking for more, so I decided to give MOBROG a go.
Although this review is focused towards UK users, it is also applicable to anyone that wants to use the app from across the world.
What is MOBROG?
MOBROG is a survey site that pays you for your opinions. Because it can be done from either your computer or your phone, it gives you the chance to earn from home or when you’re out and about. The app is currently available in over 70 countries across the world.

You will be invited by email to take part in our surveys. You can participate in some of the surveys immediately, via an online questionnaire or the mobile phone app.
Is MOBROG legit?
This is a legitimate money making app and you will find plenty of MOBROG reviews across the internet. I have never had any issues in the years I have been a member and have always been paid on time.

Splendid Research, the owners of MOBROG, is a market research company based in Germany. They employ over 25 people, operating since 2008, although it was only in 2017 that they took on their current name. MOBROG is just one of several panels they run.
The good
You can choose to download the MOBROG app or if you prefer, you can just complete surveys from your browser. There are often several surveys every day, which means a decent opportunity to earn.
Unlike some other sites, MOBROG also has some handy little symbols to tell you if you can complete a survey from your mobile or a computer. That is actually more useful than it sounds as I have lost count of the number of surveys I have opened from the likes of AttaPoll, only to be told that it wasn’t compatible on mobile!
The bad
The first thing I noticed was that the site and app had ads. This is the first survey company that I have ever seen use this and actually found it a little frustrating. As a survey company, really, they should be making money from surveys.
And yes, I know I have ads on my blog too! However, I try to make sure my ads are appropriate and no, I do not want to explore Japanese women. I’m sure they’re very nice, but my wife may have something to say about it.

Another issue with Mobrog is that they don’t host the surveys. That means they redirect you to another survey site, which often means less money for you. But more frustrating than that, you often have to go through quite a few screener questions.

How much can you earn with Mobrog?
Although Mobrog directs you to other survey sites, their pay isn’t actually that bad and on a par with most others. Expect to earn just under £5 ($7) per hour. You can withdraw your earnings when you reach £4 (or $6.25), either using PayPal or Skrill. If you withdraw via PayPal, expect it to reach your account within a matter of minutes.

How to earn extra with MOBROG
Surveys aren’t the only way to earn with MOBROG. There are a couple of other methods too.
MOBROG referral
Another way you can earn extra from MOBROG is by referring your friends and family. In the UK, you’ll earn 64 pence if a friend joins and completes 3 surveys. In the US, you’ll earn $0.75.
Facebook competitions
MOBROG has quite an active Facebook page. On there, you will find lotteries to win 10 x $5 prizes. All you need to do is like the post and answer a simple question. These usually take place once per month.
How do you get more surveys with MOBROG?
All you can do is to make sure that you have notifications turned on for new surveys. Nearly every survey has limited space, so the quicker you are, the more likely you are to earn.
Apart from that, there is little else you can do. Surveys are sent to you according to your profile, so you will just have to be patient and wait.
What other people say
You can find plenty of MOBROG reviews across the internet and Trustpilot is always a decent place to get a general opinion. At the moment, it’s rated 4.5 out of 5, which is quite impressive.
But through all the positive reviews, you can read that some people aren’t happy with the level of rewards, whilst some have complained about their accounts being cancelled without warning.
I always suggest that you never leave large sums in survey sites, just incase your account is suspended or lost.
My MOBROG review conclusion
Overall, MOBROG turned out better than I first expected. It can be a little frustrating when you are thrown out of surveys, but it’s always useful having another way to earn money from your phone.
It’s not my favourite app for making money, but certainly one worth checking out..
